Custom LED Neon sign
Build it yourself, light it up.
Create a custom LED sign in this two part class. In part one on August 15th you will design your sign with vector design software ready for cutting on the cnc router. The second class on August 22nd you will add the lights and covers to the machined base. You will consult with our makerspace manager to ensure you design will be a success.
This class is beginner-friendly. If you’ve never soldered or used vector design software before, don’t worry! We’ll guide you step-by-step. By the end of this job you will have gone through every step of designing and building a sign and will have the knowledge to do it again!

Routing and securing LED neon
Final assembly and finishing techniques
